Wedding Rehearsals
(In Person & Virtually)

I am unable to participate in rehearsals on Fridays, Saturdays, or Sundays as these days are dedicated to wedding ceremonies. Thank you for your understanding!

We loved that Aretha emphasized the importance of a rehearsal, our bridal party absolutely loved how comfortable she made everyone feel. My father was extremely nervous but after the rehearsal he was confident in his role, and it showed the day of the wedding.

The Rehearsal Is Important!

It is important that you and your wedding party be organized and prepared for the most important of your big day—your wedding ceremony.

If you book me as your Wedding Officiant, I highly recommend you also invest in one of my add-on wedding rehearsal packages.

During the wedding rehearsal, I will work closely with you and your wedding party to ensure that everyone understands where they need to be and what they need to do during the wedding ceremony. This allows everyone to arrive to the wedding day feeling confident and comfortable.

In Person Wedding Rehearsals

My in-person wedding rehearsals allows you to enjoy a traditional wedding rehearsal in the days leading up to your ceremony. Your wedding rehearsal will typically take place a few days before the ceremony at your venue, preferably in the same space where the ceremony will take place.

My in-person wedding rehearsal and wedding ceremony package is one of my most popular options. This valuable package includes an in-person wedding rehearsal for you and your entire wedding party in addition to my comprehensive wedding ceremony services.

A few important notes to keep in mind regarding in-person wedding rehearsals:

  • Who is running the Rehearsal: As your wedding officiant, I am the person who runs the rehearsal. Please make this clear to your wedding party and all your vendors, including wedding coordinators/planners and the venue staff.

  • Unavailable Days: Rehearsals CAN’T be on Fridays, Saturdays or Sundays as this is when I’m officiating weddings. Additionally, you should check my availability BEFORE confirming your rehearsal with the venue.

  • Music Playlist for the Rehearsal: It is important that we rehearse to your ceremony music. You should invite another individual who is not part of the wedding party to manage your music during the rehearsal. The music should not be played from your phone.

  • Who Should Attend: Your entire wedding party should be present at the in-person rehearsal. This includes anyone who is involved in the processional.

  • Punctuality: All processional participants must be on-time for the rehearsal. The rehearsal is limited to 60 minutes, and most venue locations are very strict about this.

  • Absences: If you know that someone cannot attend the rehearsal, please appoint a stand-in who will participate in the rehearsal and explain the duties to the participant before the ceremony.

  • Rehearsal Cost: There is an additional fee for both the in person and virtual rehearsal – see the pricing page.

Virtual Wedding Rehearsals

The virtual wedding rehearsal experience is an alternative package that is ideal for couples who are not able to get their entire wedding party together prior to the wedding day.

Here is what you need to know about the virtual wedding rehearsal:

  • The virtual wedding rehearsal is a LIVE presentation delivered by me via Zoom.

  • The couple, the entire wedding party as well as anyone involved in the processional is invited to sign on to Zoom in order to view the LIVE presentation.

This innovative option allows everyone to feel prepared for the event, even if they cannot attend an in-person rehearsal in advance.

A wedding rehearsal performed by your wedding officiant and ceremony expert will ensure that your ceremony is flawless and you enjoy your ceremony to the fullest.
