Terms of Service
I take great pride in the level of service that I provide all of my couples. When you book your wedding ceremony with me, not only will you enjoy a personalized wedding experience, but you also will benefit from the expertise of a professional.
These are the terms of service that you should be aware of when you book your ceremony with Weddings by Aretha:
COVID-19
All COVID-19 guidelines, recommendations and restrictions will be followed. Local guidelines, restrictions and orders can change, and I closely monitor the latest information in order to provide my clients with a safe and beautiful ceremony. Best practices for mitigating the spread of COVID-19 will be implemented.
Payment Policy
Full payment for your ceremony/rehearsal is required at the time of booking. Your date/time is not reserved until full payment is received.

Cancellations
There is a no-cancellation policy in place for couples who book a Weddings by Aretha team member. Refunds cannot be issued for cancellations, regardless of when the cancellation is made. This strict policy is in place due to the in-demand nature of the wedding business.
Once a date and time has been reserved, Weddings by Aretha can no longer accept bookings on that date and may have to turn clients away. It is important to be aware of this commitment when booking Weddings by Aretha as your wedding officiant or marriage celebrant.
Date, Time or Location Changes
Requests for date, time or location changes must be made in writing and will only be fulfilled based on the availability of Weddings By Aretha. At the time of booking, the Weddings by Aretha marriage celebrant begins building a schedule based on the date, time and location for that event. All schedules are strictly adhered to, and as such, it can be difficult to accommodate date, time or location changes. In the event that the change in date, time or location can be accommodated, a $100 fee will apply.
Ceremony Start Time
The marriage celebrant expects that the ceremony time will be adhered to. If the ceremony is delayed by more than 30 minutes past its scheduled start time, the couple will be required to pay the wedding officiant an additional $50 per half hour.
Refunds will not be given in the event that a significant delay prohibits the wedding officiant from being able to perform the ceremony.
Image Release
Couples who book with Weddings by Aretha agree to an image release, which allows our team members to use images, videos and stories from the event for promotional purposes. The couple waives any right to royalties, payments or considerations for use of the images.
Governing Law
The validity and enforceability of all Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the United States and the laws of New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania.
